Během rutinního letu z Berlína se let Crossair #3597 chystá na závěrečné přistání v Curychu. Je to jeden z posledních letů tento den. Ale jen pár minut před přistání piloti nemohou najít přistávací dráhu. Rozhodnou se tedy provést manévr a použit všechny čtyři motory, aby se letadlo opět vzneslo. Jenže je příliš pozdě. Letadlo zavadí o vrcholky stromů a narazí do úbočí. Vyšetřovatelé se probírají troskami a hledají černou skříňku. Avšak záhadu této nehody vyřeší jen díky údajům z minulosti.

6. února 1996 odstartoval z Dominikánské republiky Boeing 757 patřící turecké charterové společnosti. Po pěti minutách letu zmizel z obrazovek radarů a pátrání prokázalo tu nejhorší předpověď – stroj se zřítil do moře a všech 189 osob na palubě zahynulo.
