V Londýně se chystá velký drogový proces a je tudíž velmi nepříjemné, že začínají za podezřelých okolností umírat důležití svědci. O to nepříjemnější, že bezpečnost jednoho z nich měli zajistit chlapci z CI5. Tentokrát je doprovázel jistý Barry Martin, Cowleyho dávný známý, zakládající člen CI5 a mistr boje, který dokáže hravě srovnat Bodieho i Doylea. A bohužel také krysa, která za peníze přeběhla na druhou stranu barikády. Cowley tuší, že by si měl zamést před vlastním prahem a stojí ho to málem život. The mandate of CI5 was to fight terrorism and similar high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hard ex-MI5 operative, hand-picked each of his men. Bodie is a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose nature ran to controlled violence, while his partner, Doyle, comes to CI5 from the regular police force, and is more of an open minded liberal.
