Do přísně chráněné části přístavu vnikne loď napěchovaná bombami. Teroristé na lodi jsou zastřeleni. Ale na lodi je nalezena i seržant Steelová. Ta tvrdí, že poté, co ji unesli a mučili, schválně předstírala, že je zlomená a bude spolupracovat. Následně je pak lstivě vlákala do pasti, kde čekala, že je hlídka zastřelí - což se také stalo. Zároveň chce ale zpátky k teroristům, aby zmařila jejich další plány. Armáda jí ale nevěří, proto je postavena před soud a její obhajoby se rád ujímá podplukovník Harmon Rabb.(Amper01)

Při letu nízko nad hladinou trefí letadlo vlna a pár lidí je jen lehce zraněno. A ač letadlo "Orel" v pořádku a bez poruch doletí, kongresmanka Lathamová, pro kterou se let konal, chce celý projekt tohoto přelomového letadla ukončit. Na podplukovníku Harmonu Rabbovi je, aby projekt, který si námořnictvo velmi chválí, stůj co stůj zachránil.(Amper01)

Jordan, expřítelkyně podplukovníka Harmona Rabba, se po dlouhé době vrátila ze Španělska a zanechala mu vzkaz na záznamníku. Když jí Harmon volal zpět, telefon zvedl agent NCIS a oznámil mu, že je Jordan mrtvá. Krátce nato NCIS případ uzavírá jako sebevraždu. Tomu ale Harmon nevěří, takže se s kolegy z JAGu pouští do vyšetřování.(Amper01)
