With the Ancients' city of Atlantis discovered in the Pegasus Galaxy by Stargate Command, Dr. Elizabeth Weir and Major Sheppard lead a scientific expedition to the ancient abandoned city. Once there, the team not only find themselves unable to contact Earth, but their explorations unexpectedly reawaken the Ancients' deadly enemies, The Wraith, who hunger for this new prey. Na ošetřovně se probudí z amnézie člen expedice Atlantida poručík Michael Kenmore. Po pár dnech začne mít Michael noční můry o Wraithech. Carson mu dá léky na uklidnění, ale poté se Michael s Rononem poperou. Ronon se totiž vplíží na ošetřovnu a najde tam videa o Michaelovi, ze kterých zjistí, co se mu vlastně stalo.(Varan)

Dr. McKay zistí, že základňa Antikov na Taranise je umiestnená vo vnútri krátera nečinného supervulkánu. Miestni ľudia odčerpali priveľa geotermálnej energie do generátorov obranného štítu, a tým vulkán aktivovali. Dr. Weirová ponúkne domácim obyvateľom evakuáciu na Atlantídu, ale pri presune dôjde k otrasu a bránu pohltí žeravá magma.(TV JOJ)

K Atlantidě se přiblíží wraithská loď, která kontaktuje Atlantidu. Jako mluvčí Wraithů je vybrán Michael, který chce po Beckettovi retrovirus k přeměně jiných Wraithů na potravu pro Michaelovu wraithskou skupinu. Aby z toho něco měla i Atlantida, zasílají Wraithové údaje o jejich lodích. Ale informace nejsou to jediné, co jim poslali...(Varan)
