Dawn rozhoduje, že Charlie má byť odpojený od prístrojov. Stane sa tak, ale chvíľu bude trvať, než úplne odíde. Charlieho duch stretáva svojho starého učiteľa medicíny, Maca. Jeho telo bolo prevezené z márnice, majú byť na ňom vykonávané nejaké pokusy. Mac je tu tiež preto, aby Charliemu pomohol odísť. Dr. Goran sa pobil v bare a má zlomenú ruku, Dr. Kinneyová ho chce nechať päť týždňov doma, pretože nemôže operovať, preto by v nemocnici nebol užitočný. Navyše videl človeka, ktorý si strelil do hlavy. Alex to s Charliem nechce vzdať, chce podať odvolanie. Lenže vždy, keď bolo podané odvolanie, nedopadlo pre to pre navrhujúcu stranu dobre. Alex to chce napriek tomu skúsiť, preto si tiež najíma právničku, ktorá jeden takýto prípad dokázala vyhrať. Medzitým má Alex pacientku, volá sa Bea Patiera. Pred štyrmi rokmi ju operovala. Má odísť z mesta a chce so svojím priateľom cestovať, takže potrebuje prehliadku; pár röntgenov, krvné testy a podobne. Keď čaká na výsledky testov, ide si pre kávu a namiesto slova káva povie telefón. Charlie a Mac hneď vedú teórie o možnej diagnóze. Gavin pobozkal Maggie, čo musí mať nejaké následky. Maggie tvrdí, že to bola chyba, Gavin to ale vidí opačne. Navyše Maggie sa stretáva s niekým iným, musí sa učiť, ale tiež nechce prísť o priateľstvo, ktoré medzi nimi trvá už päť rokov. (TV Markíza)
