Wearová spustila autodestrukci Atlantidy - mají 10 hodin. Jako na zavolanou přijde Evert ze Země a se svými muži budou bránit Atlantidu až do konce. Evert řekne Wearové, že v Egyptě našli ZPM, které zvýší výkonnost Atlantidy. Evert se svými muži nastražili také vesmírné miny, které byly asteroidy zničeny. Následně se na senzorech objeví wraithské šipky, které začaly nálet na město a povedlo se jim poškodit jeho části. Teyla si všimne, že někteří Wraithi se dostali do města. McKay zjistí, že naqadahový generátor je zničený, tudíž křeslo nefunguje. Poslední nadějí na zastavení Wraithů je Sheppard, který se chce dostat na jednu z lodí a odpálit bombu.(Varan)
