Na texaských farmách začínají umírat zvířata. Veterinář doktor Slade právě odebírá vzorky půdy, když jej někdo přepadne, zabije a vzorky vymění. Walker se svým kolegou Trivettem vyšetřují jeho smrt. Zjistí, že firma na likvidaci olejů se tajně spojila s firmou na likvidaci chemikálií. Olej se smíchá s chemikálií a tím se pak polévají silnice, aby nebyly tak prašné. Všechna zvířata v okolí trpí otravou, včetně Trivettova nového psa. Zbytek jedovatých látek chce majitel firmy vypustit do přírody.(TV Nova)

Modern-day Texas Ranger, Cordell Walker's independent crime-solving methods have their roots in the rugged traditions of the Old West. Walker's closest friend is former Ranger, C.D. Parker, who retired after a knee injury, and now owns "C.D.'s," a Country/Western saloon/restaurant.
