Nový ředitel Vance přidělil Gibbsovi tým - agenty Langera, Keatinga a Leeovou. Dostanou případ zavražděného námořního poddůstojníka Varga. Ten Vanceovi před smrtí sdělil, že ho vydírá někdo zevnitř NCIS, aby mu předával tajné materiály o plánovaných operacích v případě konfliktu na Blízkém východě.
