Tým NCIS v Los Angeles sleduje vojína Chandlera při předání peněz. Akce se nepovede, vojín zpanikaří a utíká. Gibbs je přivolán k vraždě mariňáka. Ukáže se, že je to právě Chandler. Ředitel Vance nařizuje společné vyšetřování obou týmů NCIS. Agenti odjíždějí do Los Angeles. Tony začíná na vlastní pěst pátrat, proč je Ziva poslední dobou divná a kdo je tajemný Michael, s kterým se schází. Gibbs se zatím seznamuje s případem, na kterém losangeleský tým pracuje. Sledují muže jménem Talia, který má dodat zbraně pro jistého Liama. Vlákají oba do pasti, Liam při přestřelce zemře. V jeho hotelovém pokoji se najdou připravené zbraně. Je tedy jasné, že si pro ně kupec přijde. Na místo předání je vyslán agent Callen, aby vystupoval jako Liam. Pro peníze se dostaví Zivin přítel Michael Rivkin.(TV Nova)
