Springfield se ocitne na mizině a pokus okrást federální vládu předstíráním hurikánu nevyšel. Líza zjistí, že by pomohlo vybrat nezaplacené daně z minulosti. Zaplatí všichni, až na bývalou country hvězdu Lurleen Lumpkinovou, které Homer pomáhal na vrchol. Celé město ji začne hledat a Lurleen se ukryje u Simpsonových v domě. Je ale dopadena a odsouzena k placení 100 % každý týden. Utrápené zpěvačce, která začne pracovat v baru U Vočka, ale něco chybí. Marge zjistí, že ji ve 4 letech opustil otec a rozhodne se jej najít a přivést zpět. Když se Lurleen setká po 30 letech se svým otcem, zažívá nejšťastnější období svého života. Ten ji ale opět opustí a ještě k tomu její nový hit, složený pro něj, prodá konkurenční country kapele.(Česká televize)
