V moteli blízko námornej základne je objavená izba plná krvi a kusov ľudskej kože. K prípadu je povolaná NCIS. Následne dôjde v laboratóriu u Abby k útoku kyanidom. NCIS predpokladá, že oba útoky spolu súvisia a spojovacím článkom by mohol byť Abbyin bývalý duševne narušený priateľ.
